Buzludzha is a historical peak in the Balkan mountains. The Buzludzha monument was built by the Bulgarian communist regime to assembly members of the Bulgarian socialist movement.
Looks like a UFO to me.
It is also the most communist thing have seen to date
The monument is no longer in use or maintained by the Bulgarian government.
It is completely understandable why they would build it on this peak. You get a 360 unobstructed view of the surrounding mountains.
The building is mostly covered in graffiti now.
After leaving the monument I headed over to stay for a few nights at Motocamp Bulgaria. Fred was in need of a oil change and this was the perfect place to do it.
During my stay riders from all over pop in and out. This was by far the most interesting vehicle creation I have seen. it is a completely customized KTM with side car built in Austria for a British couple.
The thing was the size of a small car!
